2000 Wagon 44k miles - Things to check be warranty goes

I just bought a 2000 9-5 wagon 4cyl 5 speed with 44k miles. I did not purchase it from a Saab dealer, so it is not certified. I've had it for just 2 weeks now and it's quite an adjustment from the three C900s that I've owned previously. I'm trying to get a step up on the learning curve of all things 9-5 so that I can hopefully get any common and major problems addressed before the warranty is up. Having read through the 9-5 posts, I spent the afternoon checking some of the common things. So far it looks like the SID is good. The brake rotors all around look quite worn even though the pads seem ok still. The brakes feel very soft to me, but I'm used to old 900s. The interior smells kind of musty, but I live close to the ocean and the interior is cloth, so maybe it absorbs sea air. The battery says "Saab" on it, so I assume it's original. On cold mornings, I've had to try twice to get it started. After that it's fine for the rest of the day. The ride is good, nothing leaks and all the power options work. Is there anything else I should be looking for???
Many thanks in advance!
