Does your car smoke? I imagine your warrantee has expired
IF by bolt on upgrade you are talking performance upgrade then the easiest upgrade would be going to the Aero or Viggen software, turbo, fuel injectors etc. Otherwise using a larger turbo alone will only increase lag and not HP.
If you are looking for a more durable turbo, that is a tough question. You could probably use the aero turbo without too much additional lag. I think I would rebuild my existing GT-17 myself. Or at least pay a shop to remove and reinstall the turbo I send out to be rebuilt.
