You know, they all say it is the gas but I have never had this with my other cars, and to be honest, I really don't smell it from other cars on the road. Trust me, it IS the SAAB Catalytic Converter. It does go away after 10-20k miles. In fact, I had a problem and they had to replace my catalytic converter, so I got to endure the 'burn in' twice.
