I have had (2) 9-5's and (2) Audi A6's. (Have one of each right now). IMHO, Aero is faster and has loads more torque than either German. Saab is safer in real world, though both Audi and BMW good, safe cars. German's are "tighter" and quieter, in my opinion. Germans are more reliable (Basic 3.0 Audi motor very good (other posters have had issues with all the gadgets on allroad), Bimmer's 6's always strong. Have a friend with an previous body style 5 series with almost 200k on the clock and only sched maint and tires, brakes, etc. both my Audi's for over 100k, sched maint only. But it comes down to what she likes and how it drives. all 3 drive and feel very different.
