In fact, I use the original carpeted pad from my '97 Mountaineer in the '03 Aero wagon and it just fits. When we moved last January, the only advantage the Mountaineer had in cargo capacity was in the height of the cargo area. The Mountianeer could hold three boxes high, while the Aero just couldn't quite fit the 3rd level in.
