Hi all, I'm new to the forum.
I have owned two Saabs: a 1998 900 SE turbo coupe, and a 1999 9-5 2.3lpt (base model w/ cloth). Both manual transmissions. I loved the 1998 900 SE turbo coupe, but was involved in an accident that totalled it. So I bought the 9-5 after that.
This week I was given the opportunity to trade my 9-5 for a 1998 900 SE turbo 4dr, manual transmission, cosmic blue with 69,000 miles. It is in perfect condition; my 9-5 has 83,000 miles on it and is in great condition as well. It would essentially be an even trade.
It is a tempting trade to me because I miss the sportiness of my old NG900. The 9-5, though comfy and refined, just doesn't have that sporty & light energy I want.
If I were to do this, in your honest opinions, would I be getting a lesser quality (by quality I SPECIFICALLY mean mechanical & structural quality) car?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts & opinions!
