Tirerack comments and tests prompted me to try the M3 over my beloved Blizzaks, and I am thrilled!
These things are bonified winter killers (2 feet of snow in WI so far, with plenty of icey roads for a month and a half), but that wasn't the big surprise.
The MXV4plus originals pale in comparison to these "winter tires" in dry road responsiveness and quickness, and these "winter tires" are possibly the quietest tires I have ever owned!
The car feels much more athletic, planted, and the steering is quicker. My Blizzaks were always a step DOWN in dry road performance, so I pinch myself every time I drive these things.
They are new enough that I feel the need to spread my experience to the group. I would be content driving them in the summer if tread wear seems to hold up.
My best friend put WR's on his wagon, and said he was instantly reminded of " his fathers Oldsmobile" commercials. He now wishes he had M3's like on my wagon.
