As I posted earlier. my 99 9-5 v6 kind of limped home last Fri night. Towed to GaryBlakes on Monday. Diagnosis: Both DI cassettes shorted out. Why? What should I watch out for now? The car has 62,800 miles and has new timing belt and everything that goes with it plus had 60K 2800 miles ago. Warranty runs out next march.

My husband and the service center guy were making fun of my questions and info rec'd from internet. Thanks to this BB I knew about gettiing new pulleys, found my indie(thanks Lou)and knew what might be the problem when my huusband called freaking out about the car. He wanted to put oil in the car, his answer to everything!
