broken foglight housing?? Any experiences?

I have a loose foglight in my '00 Aero. The reason it's loose is because the housing is broken. I took it to the dealer and they said the housing is part of the light and want to bill $285 for a new foglight.
Provided my light doesn't fall out on the way home, I think I'm going to attempt to take it out myself and see if I can epoxy or whatever the housing back together. Just thought I'd see if any others had experience with this.
Thanks!
Scott
