I, like everyone else was frustrated with the inability to have true day time running lights. So I removed the fuse so I can turn off the lights. I didn't want the interior dash lights on constantly. It is a real pain to change them if they go out.
I researched after market lighting heavily and I installed PIAA 1200 round clear driving lamps. They are recessed in the space between the existing foglights and the air dam whole. I popped out the grey plastic pieces next to the foglights and they fit perfectly. These lights don't have that cheapy looking blue glow when they are off. They are clear lenses with black medal housings. It looks great.
Now I can drive with lamps in the front and nothing else on!
