visibility from the driver's position. The estate seems a bit noiser from the tank slosh and rear suspension action but after a few miles it certainly isn't objectionable. (I traded in my 2000 Aero for the Estate so I do have some experience with both cars.) I got used to it. I opted for the estate because it more closely approached my 97 Aero's utility. I could tell no difference in the Aero and wagon from driving stand point but the sound system in the Aero seemed a little nicer because of the "closed box" cabin. The 9-5 sedan body is essentially useless for large packages and I used the hatch back a lot. Actually hated the 00 Aero because of the restricted utility. All I want now is AWD, although I have no complaints about the TCS, it would be perfect as AWD!
