I experienced a similiar problem on a not-so-expensive set of Dunlops. The tires were balanced but had a slight vibration. The tire dealer I go to rotated the tires and problem solved. Tire man said it is possible when tires are slightly worn they may develop slight imperfections. By coincidence the tires got matched perfectly to the right wheel hub that compensated for the imperfection.
You can try e-mailing the Tire Rack. They are responsive to questions.
