I am also due for a new car in the next few months. I will not be getting another 9-5 becauce there are not changes of differences other than a little more power to the engine. I might as well buy my 9-5 after the lease instead of leasing a new one. Htat is the problem with Saab, they really have not done much to the 9-5 in 6 years. Those who are leasing find very little reason to justify getting into the same car after leasing their for 3 or 4 years. Unless you go for the Aero of course.
As far as the TL. I went to see it and I could not believe how beatiful the car is and how much you get for your $$$. THe only reason it would would keep me form buying it is the fact that the back seat is somewhat tight for two boosters. Leasing this vehicle is complety absurd considering how much money they want out of pocket to keep the payment somewhat reasonable. Their residuals are very high too, but their monthly payments plu the out of pocket takes this car out of leasing territory. I would only buy it. I alos looked at the TSX, but again the backseat was very tight.
Finally, there was a Mazda delearship next to the Acura, and I went to see the Mazda 6 5 door hatchback. Granted, I am not going to compare the vehicle to a 9-5 or a TL in the sense that it does not compete in those Categories. BUT I could not believe what you get for $25,000 out the door loaded with everything. THe car is roomier than the TL ind similar in space as the 9-5. The V^ engine gives plenty of PEP (220 HP) with either manual or auto shift and the car is extremely well made. Throw in a 4/50,000 mile warraty and I must admit hat I was very impressed with the overall package. Obviously is not in the ame category as a 9-5 or a TL, but then again....................
