keep me out of any 99 thru 01 9-5. Again, if you absolutely know the history that's another matter. The 2002 evolved enough to where most of the poor design problems had been addressed. Having personally replaced the headgasket because of poor PCV design, front brakes for poor performance, rear shocks for being weak, DIC as it will fail, replaced broken front turn indicator assemblies, heater blower motor, three ECUs and having to clean the TB more than I would care. Saab does do better over time but change is slow with a low volume car and a finite supply of parts to use until the poor ones are depleted. And all this with a car that is maintained religiously. Those that are not must be in pretty bad shape.
