Help! If everyone isn't tired of the snow tire discussion, I need some help because I am getting conflicting advice and information from the dealer. I have a 9-5 wagon, 2000 model year, non-Aero. The owners' manual says to use 15" wheels for "deep snow" conditions---presumably to leave room for chains. The parts person at my dealer says they have no 15" wheels for the 9-5, and the 15'S won't fit because of the brake calipers. I emphasized that I do not have an Aero, but he said NO 9-5 would take the 15's. Should I go elsewhere, say Les Schwab (for their Nokians) or Tirerack, and buy 15" wheels anyway? Or give up the idea of chains and just go with 16" wheels? I live in the Northwest (Seattle area) and go skiing a lot. Thanks for your help!
