The Aero will have more performance than the Arc, but the Arc may be comparable to what you have now. The Aero suspension will also be stiffer than the Arc's, which is already stiffer than what you have now.
You may find the Aero to be too stiff to your liking or it may be perfect for you. If you like the ride of the Arc but the performance of the Aero, you can have both thru use of aftermarket performance parts (engine management software) added to the Arc. These programs can be quickly added and removed (~30 minutes or less) so your Dealer will never know you had it installed.
The diesel is a Europe only option - I am assuming you are in the States.
