necessary. Make sure it is only 6 point! Proper torque requirement is 82ft-lbs to 90 ft-lbs depending what page of the WIS you are reading.
I had this same problem after a tire shop rotated my tires but am shocked the Dealership did it, maybe I shouldn't be. I pitched a bitch and made the tire shop use a torque wrench in my presence to properly torque the lugs. I was surprised to see they actually have wheel torque specs on site for all car models. They just choose to ignore them. Claim they use "torque sticks" in their wrenches when tightening lugs, but with 120ft-lbs on both front wheels and 160ft-lbs on rear wheels I am confident two separate guys ran their wrenches to stall when tightening.
My 1/2 to 3/8 adapter was a Sears so replacement was free!
