which are 6.5 inches in width for summer use. The tires are slightly plump on these wheels which helps to prevent curb rash as the tire sidewall takes the impact. I agree that this tire size would be too wide for a 5 inch wide rim.

I run 195/65HR15's in the winter on steel wheels. I have seen 15-inch Saab OEM wheels from 9-3's being sold on eBay in the past at dirt cheap (almost) prices. If your car is not an Aero model these wheels would be a good choice. Used Saab aluminum wheels from various on-line suppliers would be another option if you want/need to stay with 16 or 17 inch diameter wheels but don't want to pay new prices.
