BMW & M1 5W-40

Right now all I can go by is subjective observation, it'll probably be a year before I have hard, objective data (a used oil analysis report)
But subjectively, the BMW 3.0-liter six ('03 330xi) is smoother, more willing to rev, and it sounds sooooooo good when filled with 5W-40. The 5W-40 has also eliminated any and all brownish buildup on the underside of the oil filler cap of this engine.
After experiencing such excellent results in the BMW I expected the same with the SAAB, but alas, it didn't happen...
