Opposite problem, my fan never comes on after ingition shut off no matter how hot the car is. I did not realize it until I read your post, as it just dawned on me that I have never heard the fan come on. The car is a 2004 Aero with 7500 miles, so I will bring this up at the next oil change at the dealer. I'd make sure you took you car in to the dealer before your warranty runs out for both of these issues and ask for the "Master Tech". I would stopwatch the amount of time the fan runs after running car on a short trip before the car has a chance to reach full operating temp, if its still 1 hour, there is a problem, which will would unnecessarily use up your battery and burn out the fan a lot quicker than normal. Good luck and let us know what they find.
