I did the '03 swaybars, bilsteins about 12k miles ago. At the time,I put in OEM aero spring's in my '99 9-5 lpt.
I've been VERY happy with the combination; it works better than any of the stock '00-01 aero's I driven (several), even though I DON't have the 17" wheels. (I love the look of the GF wheels, though)
Since I'm using exactly the same springs, the benefit is a combination of the larger sway bars and/or the bilsteins. The OEM springs were about $200 from a saabnet sponsor, and the labor isn't that much, either (especially compared to the front sway bar). I didn't want to lose the clearance the eibach's would do. I did drive an eibach aero, and it was fun, but it didn't have a lot of margin, and I drive regularly on inferior roads!
See if you can find an aero to compare with. Good luck with it!
