Not very. I've had to change tires on both my 2001 and, a couple of weeks ago, my 2004 Arc, both times in parking lots. The jack was decent on the 2001 and stored pretty compactly, but in GM's interest in pinching pennies (I still miss the WB and chrome exhaust pipe) the jack in the 2004 is smaller, with a shorter crank (and the lug nut wrench is shorter, too). No moment arm! The spare and jack storage is completely different, and trying to get the jack back where it is supposed to be is absolutely maddening, especially since the owner's manual shows not the current stowage diagram, but the former one. Styrofoam forms practically the whole spare and tool storage area. You have to be absolutely certain you are properly engaged into one of the jacking points and that the ground under the jack is level, or you'll put the cradle of the jack through a rocker panel or the floor; this almost happened to me. If you'll be under the car, *use jack stands!*
