Aero overserviced with oil - question.

While on my vacation, I had Mike Shaw Saab in Denver do a 5000 mile service on my new Aero Wagon. The moron mechanic put in 5 quarts. I just found out - I knew it was overfilled, but I did not realize by how much until I started sucking it out the filler hole with my trusty MityVac. The book calls for 4.2 quarts, if I rememeber correctly. Thumbs down for Mike Shaw Saab!
Any bad consequences other than "possible excessive oil consumption" (as per the owner's manual)? The oil has 2000 miles on it and looks a bit too black for my liking. It's Mobil 1 5W30.
TIA
