I read the post below about the Houston area dealerships. You think you've got it bad? There are exactly two Saab dealerships near where I live, one close to work and one 30 miles away. I went to the closer one to have the following done:
1) Reprogram headlights so that I can run with parking lights and foglights only in middle switch position (DRL fuse pulled already).
2) De-activate the auto-lock on the tailgate when starting to drive.
3) De-activate the 'chirp' when using the remote to lock/unlock the car.

They come back and say, 'we can't do #1, its not possible. We can't do #2 because its a safety issue. We can do #3 (for $37.50!!!). BS!!!!

I started to argue that it says in the MANUAL clearly that you can do #1 and #2 (#3 I'm not sure about), but then stopped, thinking if the morons don't know how to do something as simple as that then I don't want them coming anywhere near my car, and walked out. Guess I'll try the one that's far away. Thanks for listening to my rant.
