The key is to negotiate the "purchase price" with the dealer BEFORE any SaabUSA incentives are applied--separate out the two. The nationally advertised lease for August (see saabusa.com) is based on a purchase price somewhere north of invoice, so in order to start from a better place, and in order to get the full benefit of your multiple incentives, you should be sure to keep an unblinking eye on the purchase price in relation to invoice--and shop around for the best number if you have a few dealers nearby. I emailed 10 dealers in southern CA (but only managed to get the attention of 5) and worked on the purchase price between them.

In your case it sounds like this "$3250 discount" is something offered by the dealer "off of" of MSRP. That does take you below invoice so it looks pretty damn good. Then you can apply the $5000 and the other SaabUSA incentives to this "gross cap."
