get a thin blade screw driver, slip in in the left side crack, GENTLY press it and pry it out, be sure to press the retaining clip in (your cant see it, its half way up the side of the SID about an inch back if i remember)
be gentle or you will crack the dash trim and the SID trim. once u get it out just a little grip the unit, and gently slip the screwdriver it in the other side (will be tighet now that one side is pulled out a little)... tug with your fingers at the SID and it will pop out. Radio can stay in place.
a small electronics screw driver works best
