I am fairly familiar with the system.
Do you have Onstar?
If you do have Onstar you will need to purchase a "Triad" from Jim Uhl. If you do not have Onstar you will need to purchase a wiring harness from Saab.
The install is not all that difficult if you do not have Onstar and I do not think it will void your factory waranty. It is something a novice who can follow directions could handle.
If you do have Onstar the install is a bit more complex, but still something a patient person can do. If you do have Onstar and need to install a Triad I would guess that some components of your factory waranty will be voided since you need to cut a few wires.
Where to get it done?
If you live in /feel like driving to Michigan I guess I could help you out, but most any stereo installation shop should be able to handle the install.
Jim Uhl's website will have some pictures posted soon showing the install. I just have not gotten to writing up and explination of all the pics, so i did not send the pics to him yet.
You will need a car kit, and antenna and either a Triad or a Saab wiring harness depending on if you do or don't have Onstar.
