A car with 55k is supposed to have a working engine. Advising the next buyer of a replacement engine just raises red flags unnecessarily. I myself would wonder if they really fix what caused the engine to fail, even with an entirely new engine.
On the other hand it should be fine. I'd be much more concerened if they rebuilt the old one as they seldom get it right the first time. Swapping out the entire engine is the right thing to do and should be right the first time. It's just a plug and play device.
Sell it whenever without regard to the new engine and I wouldn't lie about it, but I wouldn't mention it either.
Kiss yourself all over for going with a CPO, or maybe not when your name is "Stinky".
