Swapped transes over the weekend. Installed one with a tag that reads:
GM 456 10 (model no.?) then underneath that: 781232 (serial no.?). Trans came out of a 1986 S 16 valve which owner says worked fine until car was totaled (minor front end damage did it in). 1st thru 4th are a dream, but shifter will not notch into 5th at all, as if it's a 4 speed. Help! Thanks. Ken (KenMB@aol.com)
