It's time for you to inspect your wiper linkage. This is conveniently located in the engine bay, as compared to inside the car on other, inferior makes.
The motor and passenger wiper linkage is behind the power steering belt and valve cover on the motor, on the firewall, just under the rear lip of the engine compartment. The motor, when turned on (key two clicks) should circulate a link arm around and around. That will be connected to the pivot for the passenger side wiper, which is also connected to a connecting rod to the driver's side pivot. If all of this is intact, I think I know what happened.
The connecting link is connected to an eccentric pulley for the driver's side wiper pivot by a cable. My guess is that it has been severed or disconnected. A quick way to check is to see if the connecting rod moves up and around on the pulley. Normally, the cable maintains heavy tension between those two pieces. If the cable is broken or has come loose, the two pieces may separate. If this reassembly is necessary, you will need to remove the linkage, oil the pivots (driver side had siezed on my car), and reassemble the cable/link/pulley. I can elaborate with an even longer message if necessary.
