No apologies needed, this car is a whole new world to me. I need all the info I can get my hands on :P I come from a world of Dodge Chargers (80's econobox version), and Chevy S10s, I should have known better than to assume what I need on this car. 90% of the stuff I run are poor condition back country roads, mainly hard pack, and lots of wash board. I usually can run fairly stiff suspension, if it gets rough, that just means I am going too slow! The difference for me is this is daily driving. Many of my friends live out in the country, and I always have to take the "scenic" route, wink, wink :P As for the fuel and brake lines, it was easy on the truck-just run inside the framerails. On the Charger, I fashioned "skidplates" similar to what 4X4 guys run, and it worked well. I haven't yet had a good look at the underside of my 900 to see what my options are. Running brake lines inside doesn't bother me, but taking some cues from my drag racing days, running fuel lines inside scares the crap out of me. My biggest problem right now tho is trying to find tires. Can't find any place stateside (let alone in Michigan), that even mentions rally tires. The couple places I called kept trying to show Auto-X tires, didn't quite understand that I wanted dirt tires. Looks like I may have to visit Canada for the things. Maybe I'll get lucky, and come out cheaper anyway due to the exchange rate.
