Ten tons on torque arm bushing...insufficient!

Am taking a long trip and wanted to change out my torque arm bushings as i saw last summer the bushing next to the wheel was faulty. I removed the arms and brought them to the nearby shop for them to use their hydraulic press. I tried last summer to hammer the bushings out but no success. The shop used ten tons of pressure, the max. The steel bushings would not release. Later the shopman cut them out with an air chisel, all rusty. all good now. Later will post some photos of our trip from Tennessee to the desert SW, Grand Canyon hiking and maybe Utah skiing, all this in my 'restored' 85 8V, newly painted motherboard green.
