I left this simple fact out the o2 sensor when the mixture is rich the voltage should be almoast 1 volt & when lean it should be almoast 0 volts although they will fail on the low side.
in closed loop the systom may start rich with o2 voltage high the ecu says oh crap we are too rich & leans out the mixture than o2 voltage drops the ecu says damm now Im too lean & fattens the mixture back up a healthy systom in closed loop does this back & fourth fuel trim dance it is a beautiful thing
