that Porsche, other exotic/sports cars as well as 90% of motorcycle manufacturers use cross drilled rotors, hell, even mountain bikes have them!
I have x-drilled rotors on my SPG & they haven't warped yet (100K+), I couldn't say that about the not drilled rotors that were on there B4, especially on twisty mountain roads, they couldn't dissipate heat fast enough.
I guess I am ignorant & will continue to be because I have a new set of x-drilled rotors & carbon pads for my 87 SPG. I am going to the 88+ style brakes & yes, they will look cool behind my new rims, but that's not why I have them
