On the highway my heater blew slightly warm air and the needle hovered just below the bottom of the green. In stop and go traffic it would get up near the top of the green and come down once I got moving again. I figured the thermostat was stuck open so I got a new one. Went to replace it today and surprise, NO THERMOSTAT! I just took her for a spin and got the motor good and hot, passing a cop going the other way doing 105 in a 50 zone. OOOpppsss!!! Had Led Zep "Talk about Love" blasting on the stereo I installed yesterday and was really cooking with gas. We whipped past each other around a curve so maybe he didn't see me or didn't want to spill his coffee or something because he didn't turn around. It is dark out and my car is black and I had just lifted off the gas to negotiate the curve so it wasn't making very much noise either. Wheew!!
