It's not too bad a project. You'll have to remove the rear seat bottom (or at least I found it to be very helpful to do so), remove the driver's seat, center console, and have a way to lift up the rear carpet. To get the carpet up, it's helpful to remove the threshold plate. You don't say whether you have a 3-door or a 4-door, but on a 4-door, its the plate on the rear doors.
There are a few things to watch for:
There's a clip under the carpet, between the end of the console and the front of the stiffener under the rear seat. It's held down with a torx screw. You'll need to loosen that.
The new style E-brake cables are thicker than the old style cables because they put a rubber coating on the cable portion in the car. You may have to trim the rubber off where the cables go into the clips inside the console, at the rear. The easy way to tell if you already have the new style cables is that there are plastic adjusters on the cables, under the rear seat. The old style cables don't have that adjuster.
It's a bit tricky getting the new rubber grommets that seal the holes where the cable comes into the rear floor. Be patient and you'll get that.
Jack up the rear of the car and put it up on jackstands so you'll have room to comfortably get to everything under there.
It took me about 1-1/2 hours to do both the first time.
