Condensation and frost form on the radiator and exhaust manifold just like they form on your hood and windshield. As the car warms up, the thermostat keeps the coolant circulating in the engine away from the radiator. Once the engine warms up a bit, the thermostat opens and sends hot coolant into the radiator, driving the condensation off a short while *after* the car is started. In cold weather, the moisture condenses in the air, just like seeing your breath. It can be a little disconcerting, but quite normal. Just physics, Mr. Wizard!
It's also normal to see moisture bubbling around the turbo/exhaust manifold joint. That joint closes as the parts warm up, but is a little open when the car is cold. Water is a combustion buyproduct, and it gets driven out through any place it can find.
