Turn the knob and pull up.
I had a leather-clad one on my 900t, and it came off easily.
I have a MOMO DTM aluminum knob (I like the minimalist look)
The other "ET's head" looking ones seem a little too big for me.
Install requires a little shopping trip to the hardware store.
Since you have a slit in the shaft for the reverse-collar, you
need to cover that up a little for the knob.
Get a plastic (PVC) ring that fits over the shaft.
About 1/4" tall, and 1/16" thick.
Slip it over, so that the triple torx bits can dig into the PVC.
Hope tis helps.
James.
