A recent cold snap has once again plauged my 900. It is a 90 900 non-turbo. I tried to start the car, about -5 out, and it immediatly started to flood,I DID NOT TOUCH THE GAS PEDAL. Well I did touch it but it had already flooded so I floored it and it started up. However; it would not idel, if I let off the gas it dies. To restart the car I must use the gas pedal like it has a carborator. I proceede to drive away, the car runs fine as long as it is in gear, push in the clutch and it dies. About 1 mile later and the car no longer dies now the idel goes from 1700 to 2000to 1700 to 2000 to ..... over and over again until the car is very warmed up. Once its warm the car dies one more time when the clutch is pushed in. It is a slow death, the rpms just drop of to nothing, takes about 2 seconds from 2500 rpm. I just put the car in gear and it starts upo again. now the car will run perfectly from here on uot until the engin is turned off and it gets cold. This is the 3rd year in a row it has done this. it only happens when it 0 or colder. once the weather warms up then all is well. I cannot find a vacume leak either, I replaced the vac hose to the charcoal canister from the intake, no change as well as the one from the intake to the fuel press reg. IS it the air mass meter, throttle sensor? help!!!!!!!!!
