If you can tell me how a remote starter works, I can probably tell you how to wire it.
Applying +12v to pin 58 at the ignition switch will spin the starter. What I fail to understand is how you turn on the electrical accessories, like the fuel pump and ECU. I suppose you could run a relay from +12v to the right pin (pin X, IIRC) on the ignition switch and bypass the key. I've thought about this for a long time, and I just don't get it.
I assume your car is an automatic, right? If not, you'll also have to remove the ignition switch unit and remove the arm to disable the reverse lockout. If it's an automatic that isn't an issue.
So, anyway, go buy an alarm and read the instructions. My web page has pretty complete info on what you need to set it up, but I've never used a remote starter since all my cars are 5-speeds.
