I have 4" polk DB components up front and polk 6"x9" 3 way in the rear. I added a 10" Image Dynamic subwoofer with a 6 channel by 40 watt A/D/S amp coming off a Nakamichi CD-45 head unit. The sound is really sweet! It is very rich, crisp and clear. The only prob I had was with some rattle in the mid-range b/c of the saab plastic vent covers in the front. Sound tape cured the unwanted noise. I agree that the Boston Acoustic 4" is an excellent speaker. If you want a smaller magnet, check out the Kenwood Excelon series. good luck!
