they make a socket just for that but man it can really really REALLY be on there tight and you do not have much room to play with. get the o2 socket AND a deep well same size ( o2 socket has cutout for wiring). cut the wire and use the std deep well to remove, o2 socket to replace. soak it with penetrant overnite then get it nice and toasty warm...nothing like working on a hot turbo. this is one of those jobs that is sometimes best to foist off on a unsuspecting mechanic. if it is easy you won't get charged much..if it is difficult they have the headache..not you. primary cost is sensor anyway.
