Hey guys. I'm not sure what the actual size is, sometimes I guess it right, and other times the hoses fall off on me after a month or two. Try giving a SAAB dealership a call and asking the parts desk what size the hose is. I think it's like 3mm or something. You usually don't have to worry about the fat vacuum hose going to the Brake Booster. It's pretty sturdy, and I'd be surprised if it was rotten too. Just look for all of the hose that is about the diameter of a pencil. It's in the fender wells, to the throttle body, crankcase, over near the power steering fluid, along the body under the windshield, and under the dash. There's miles and miles of it. Replace it all. Yes, the stuff under the dash is a total bitch to get to. In fact, my turbo gauge hasnt worked in months. Car stutters from it sometimes, but I refuse to climb my big self (6'3") under that damn dash, and contort myself under the windhield, but above the steering wheel to work blindly in the speaker hole. Go at it boys! It's even worth it when you're done!
