Do I need a new battery? When I tried to turn engine over in this 13 degree weather, all sounded right except like it wasn't getting gas. After four tries, battery started to fade. I'm at the end of an alley without a reasonable chance for a jump start (unless I call a tow truck). Should I just buy a new battery?
Don't know if its related, but on the way to xmas gathering, strange noises from the engine, a knock corresponding to the speed (ie. like I was dragging something around a tire, except coming from the engine). The noise stops when the engine gets warm. Could it be that I need a higher weight engine oil?
