CD Changer Problems on Stock Radio

I'm trying to hook up a Clarion CD changer to the stock radio in my '89 900 Turbo. The Clarion CD changer was taken out of another '89 900 Turbo along with the stock radio. I have no idea how the CD changer was wired with the stock radio in my previous Saab. When I got my new Saab I didn’t have a chance to follow any of the wiring so I just cut them where I could. Just recently for Christmas I got the cable I needed for the Clarion CD changer and a Y-cable that allowed it to work with the radio and EQ. The Y-cable was marked for the CD changer, radio, and EQ. I connected everything but when I turned on the radio I heard nothing. I turned up the volume to max and I could just barely hear the radio. I checked my connections and made sure they were all connected properly but still the same thing. Another problem is I have no clue where the lined remote for the CD changer connects to. There is no place anywhere where the round 8-pin cable could connect to. Somehow this Clarion CD changer was working in my previous Saab's stock radio. Anyone have any ideas or have possibly tried this? Thanks
