86 900T cam alignment?

Hi, I own a 86 16V 900T and recently I did a bit of head work on it.
While doing the head work I noticed that the alignment marks on the cams pointed midway between a large indentation on the bearing caps closest to the timing chain when the engin is set to TDC.
My Haynes repair manual does not show the correct setting for the cams on my particular model of car so i have no idea if this is ok or if my timing chain has stretched. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be appreciated. Note: The bearing caps on my car use the overhead oil feed pipe.
