I wish I could be more detailed, but I do know there is a size difference I put a '92 dash in my '85 SPG and it turned out to be about 1/8-1/4 too wide. Had to "convince" it into place, which included some trimming of the knee-panel and pushing in the dash (which caused a little crinkle under the steering wheel). Because I had to cram the dash into place the dash panel didn't fit right, and it had to also be convinced into place. A clean installation and asthetically o.k.? Sort of, not perfect, but not something anyone but myself or another Saab freak would notice. It's a LOT of work, so if you really love your car, go ahead with it. It does look a lot nicer in the end.

P.S. make sure you get the cover for the under side of the steering wheel. The new dash is shaped different, and consequently your old cover won't fit.
