I've got the rrfpr, bigger injectors, and APC mod on my 87 900T, haven't put on the AID yet. Next on list (this year was new front fenders, got to hide the cost of a new bit from the wife!).
Sounds like 18 degrees might be a better compromise for the high rpm boost flutter...and you may need SPG9's new wastegate controller but I'm still ambivalent about this one...no one has esplained to me why an 18lb wastegate controller is going to help when base boost is set at 5.5 psi...or could it be that the 18psi wastegate controller eliminates 5.5 base boost! Yeah, that would effectively eliminate flutter!
In re the check engine light...maybe time for a new 02 sensor after the full throttle/part throttle transition? Isn't the 02 sensor the only thing that trips the light on an 87? Or does the AMM/ECU affect the light?
