First - do you have a telescopic antenna? If so, chances are good it's a power antenna. Next, open the trunk, peel back the carpeting by the antenna, and look. If you have a big box hanging under the antenna, then that's the power unit.
It may very well just be unplugged. One of the problems with power antennas is that they freeze up in winter. You turn on the radio, and due to ice buildup, the antenna comes up two inches. You can either get out of the car and try and pull it the rest of the way, or be satisfied listening only to radio stations within a 3 mile radius. When I get fed up, I extend the antenna by turning on the radio, and then just unplug the power connection. The antenna stays up all the time. I plug it back in when spring comes. There are two connectors - a white plastic connector for power and motor signal, and the antenna itself, which is a thick black wire.
