Hi, Alan!
Thanks so much for this lead. I tried the website for Eurocarparts, and got a message that said, "System unavailable - please try again later." So I'll keep trying. If the cost of the stock system (minus cat) is reasonable and they'll ship here, this could be the best answer of all. At least I'll know it will fit the car.
I've also heard the -10bhp figure thrown around when discussing the cat penalty. I don't think the cat causes the car to produce less boost (mine will peg the boost needle beyond the red now if I set the wastegate that high) but the exhaust restriction does affect efficiency/horsepower in other ways. There's less effective scavenging of the exhaust gasses from the cylinders with more back pressure, and the spool-up time of the turbo is probably impacted.
I'm not too enamoured with the idea of having that hot thing under my car, either... I had one burn up on me one time when a bad spark plug wire allowed unburnt fuel from one cylinder to get to the cat. That was scary -- I thought I was going to lose the car.
If I get rid of mine entirely somehow, I'll let everyone know what the effects (both positive and negative) are.
Thanks again for the website lead, Alan!
